Monday 14th April - Game Park Open Day

The ponds will be open for fishing, spin or fly with a 1 fish bag limit. Valid fishing licence required. No treble hooks permitted. 

Eel feeding & talk 9.30am

Activities for the kids. 

Bring a picnic & enjoy the grounds. 

 

Tuesday 15th April - Junior Intermediate Fly Fishing workshop in Waipukurau

A great one day workshop for those young fly fishers who want to move to the next level and upskill. You'll cover casting techniques, netting & handling fish and best practice catch & release strategies and more. Also a great way to connect with other keen anglers. Space is limited so register now. 

Cost: $39ea
Time: 10am - 3pm
Age: Open to 12-17 year olds
Meeting at the Lindsay Road carpark just off SH2 north of the bridge. 
BYO gear & must have a valid fishing licence. 
In the event of bad whether the course may be cancelled and refunds provided.
