Boggy Creek hunting stand ballot information

Boggy Creek is located on the north-western side of Lake Ellesmere/Te Waihora, it is accessed from Colletts Road.

It is Department of Conservation owned land managed for hunting opportunities by North Canterbury Fish & Game. 

North Canterbury Fish & Game have six hunting stands available for hunters and access to them is decided by ballot each year.

To apply for the ballot, download the form here and complete it and return it via email to: ncevent@fishandgame.org.nz

The terms and conditions for use of these hunting stands are included on the form.

Ballot applications are accepted from 1st March to 3rd April and the ballot is drawn on the next working day.  

A new map for the improved ballot stands is being developed. It will be provided by 26th March at the latest. (update on Facebook when it is completed).
