ALERT: Te Reinga Bridge Closure (Ruakituri River)

The Te Reinga Bridge on the Ruakituri River is Closed to all passage (pedestrians and vehicles) until further notice following damage to the structural support.

This may have occurred in either the recent rainfall event or the 4.4 magnitude earthquake that was in the vicinity, 35km from Wairoa, on Friday March 25.

An alternate route into the Ruakituri is via State Highway 38, Ohuka Rd and Erepeti Rd.
