Forest access extended

Angler access through Kaingaroa Forest has been extended through to and including Labour Weekend.

Timberlands have announced that angler access to the Rangitaiki River system and the Flaxy Lakes and via Kaingaroa Forest, has been extended through to, and including Labour weekend in late October.

Fish & Game staff say its good news, and anglers are encouraged to take advantage of this access.

 Current access permits will be considered valid for this extension, and anyone else wishing to obtain a permit can contact First Security in Rotorua, 07 3470297.
