Nelson Marlborough Fish & Game have a formal upland game hunting arrangement with OneFortyOne (OFO) forests, and permits for hunting on OFO estate are now controlled through Fish & Game.
This arrangement allows for vehicle access into a large number of forest blocks over four weekends per season, including blocks Golden Downs and Rai/Pelorus forests.
