Banding Together - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Five prize draws:

Each of the five draws entitles one winner to a Banded White River hunting jacket ($399.99) plus 6 Avery GHG XD (Extra Detail) Floating Mallard Decoys ($169.99).
Winners’ jacket sizes will be requested prior to shipping, and the nearest appropriate size will be sent. Hunting & Fishing New Zealand advises that prizes are not transferable and size exchanges may be difficult as this is an imported product. Other conditions may apply.

  1. To enter, individuals must hold a game bird hunting licence valid for the current year. Licences and duck band numbers will be subject to checking against Fish & Game records. Hunters may send in multiple entries, but only one entry permitted per duck band. To enter, phone 0800 BIRD BAND (0800-247322), or enter the details on the “send in your duck band” page. Entries must be received by August 31, of the existing year.
  2. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter (Fish & Game) and agencies associated with this promotion or Hunting and Fishing NZ, are ineligible to enter. (But still send in your band info!)
  3. Promotion commences on Opening Day of the season and closes August 31 of the current year. The draw will take place at the offices of Fish & Game on September 15, of the same year. Winners will be notified by email or telephone. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. The Promoter is Hunting & Fishing New Zealand, 641 Tremaine Ave, Palmerston North 4414 in association with Fish & Game NZ, Level 2, the Dominion Building, 78 Victoria Street, Wellington 6011.
  5. By accepting the prize, the winner’s consent to have their name, photograph and town of residence used for publicity relating to this promotion.
  6. Hunting & Fishing New Zealand conditions may apply.
  7. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law
    1. to disqualify any entrant; or
    2. subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
    1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
    2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    3. any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
    4. any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
    5. any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
    6. use of a prize.
