Some great fish coming in

Don’t ignore any emails from fish & Game – as one may contain a free fishing licence!

As promised, we've selected a random respondent from the nearly 900 licenceholders who took the time to fill out our recent online survey.

The survey has given us some great insights in to your fishing habits. For example, three quarters of our anglers are fishing during the winter season.

Those who made the effort to get out and fish this winter have been rewarded with some good fish.

Our recent returns from Arapuni have been impressive with several large browns caught in the past month.

Although many of our streams have been high and unfishable recently, post spawning fish should be actively feeding and on the move.

So, when the water clears, get out there!
