Fish for Gold 2019

 

Eastern Fish and Game are again delighted to be able to offer anglers at the Rotorua Lakes a chance to Fish for Gold!

The tagged trout promotion which runs for thirteen days from October 1^st might bag one lucky fisher a $10,000 prize.

All you have to do is catch one of the specially marked Fish for Gold tagged trout and you are in with a chance!

Fish and Game will release ten Fish for Gold tagged trout into lakes Rotoiti, Okataina and Tarawera (30 in total), just before the start of the fishing season. Each white coloured fish tag carries a special number, and that number corresponds with a pre-sealed numbered envelope. One of the thirty envelopes holds the $10,000 prize, one envelope has a 2hp outboard motor worth $950 from Telfer marine and the other 28 have $200 tackle vouchers courtesy of local businesses Kilwell, and The Outdoorsman Headquarters. So land the right tag and you’ll win big!

Entry is free to holders of a 2019/20 trout fishing licence. Children can enter if on a family licence, but not the free child’s licence.

The promotion is limited to the first 1200 entries so be in quick.
