Do you want to learn how to fish for trout successfully from a kayak?

Eastern Fish and Game are running a kayak fishing talk on November 30^th at their offices at Paradise Valley Road, Ngongotaha.

The event starts at 1.00pm and will go until about 4.30pm.

Kayak fishing expert Rob Fort (pictured right) of Coromandel and Fish & Game’s Mark Sherburn will present the material covering all aspects of successful kayak fishing of trout.

The tuition is classroom based, with Rob explaining all you need to know about kayaks and kayak equipment including all the latest tech and safety equipment.

Mark will provide an insight into several different methods to target trout plus explain about their life cycle and favoured food sources.

There will also be a demonstration preparing trout, removing all the pin bones, and hot smoking. 

The presentation will be simple, easy-to-follow, non-technical stuff all designed to make you a successful trout fisher from a kayak.

Seating is limited so booking is essential. The tuition is provided free of charge.
