Please contact your General Practitioner or Primary Care Health Provider in the first instance. They will be able to refer you to appropriate Mental Health Services in your area, where you can talk to someone in person and access other health resources.

- Beating the Blues - An online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) programme which helps you understand anxiety and depression and learn different ways to better manage your mental health.
- The Lowdown - a space created with rangatahi for rangatahi. Here you can learn, express and engage around your hauora (wellbeing), identity, culture and mental health.
- Depression.org.nz – Understanding Mental Health, self-tests for Anxiety and Depression, and access to resources/help.
- SPARX - A free online tool that uses gameplay to help young people learn to deal with depression and anxiety.

- Depression Helpline – 0800 111 757 or free text 4202 a free helpline that you can call or txt 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It has trained counsellors who can talk you through your problems and suggest help in your area.
- Youthline – 0800 376 633, free text 234, or email talk@youthline.co.nz or online chat (for young people, and their parents, whānau and friends). Youthline for help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can txt between 8am and midnight. You can chat online with a counsellor from 5pm to 9pm through the Youthline website. You can also email any time.

- 1737 - staffed by a team of paid counsellors who can talk to you if you have mental health or addiction problems.
