Reel Life December 2021

It has been a month of great weather and awesome angling to match in the lower North Island.

The lowland rivers have been firing with excellent numbers of sea-run trout, kahawai and perch congregating in the lower reaches.

One lucky angler even nailed a good salmon from the lower Ruamahanga River!

For all the latest on the fishing action in the Wellington Fish & Game region, check out the Lower North Lowdown  – our weekly fishing report with weather outlook, tips and river flows, and heaps more.
