Planting day invitation

Northland Fish and Game have two planting days at our wetlands coming up at the end of July. The trees were provided by the governments 1 Billion Tree Program and distributed by the Game Bird Habitat Trust.

You will need to bring boots, spade, warm clothing and a drink bottle. BBQ lunch provided

 

Underwood Wildlife Management Reserve, Hoanga Road Dargaville

When :  Thursday 29 July 2021, 10-2pm

What: Planting of the newly constructed ponds and wetland surrounds to complete stage 1

 

Greenheart Wetland, Bob Taylor Road, Tangitetoria

When:  Saturday 31 July 2021, 10-2pm

What: Planting the final stage of the riparian strip and ponds.
