Resource Management Advocacy role with Southland Fish & Game Council

Then this exciting, challenging and varied role with the Southland Fish & Game Council is for you.
As part of a dedicated team based in Invercargill your primary focus will be that of Resource Management Advocacy for Fish & Game resources. The job will also include an interesting mix of field work, such as monitoring sportsfish and gamebird populations and compliance activities. Other core functions will include public awareness and liaison with anglers, hunters, landowners and staff of local and central government and NGOs.
Ideally an applicant would have a post graduate tertiary qualification in resource management or related fields, have well developed oral and written communication skills, have a strong interest in trout fishing and/or game bird hunting, be physically fit and a competent swimmer.
